This rugged metal mount proximity reader is ideally suited for harsh environments and mounting on metal surfaces such as rigid conduit boxes, door frames, and parking lot barriers. Due to its smart design the reader is not affected by metal, which typically degrades the performance of most standard proximity readers resulting in excessive power consumption and low or no read range. The Mace metal mount proximity reader is encased in a compact solid metal housing with an attractive satin chrome finish and secured with tamper proof screws. it is sleekly designed to esthetically fit in any environment from parking lots to building interior lobbies.
